Windows 7 Stuck on Welcome Screen (Fixed with 5 Ways).

Yes Tried that you can log in then restart but still does not let you back on the domain. It still comes up please wait or if you can login you get Welcome and it hangs. I would boot it into safe mode and restore to an early point. I had this same issue on a machine and restored it to date a couple weeks prior and worked as intended. Not sure if a windows update went bad or what had happened. Not sure if you are concerned with losing something that had been recently saved but it would save you some time restoring to an early point.

We have tried muliple restore dates but nothing worked. We are are on Domain so don’t know if that has a differance effect. Instead of just trying restore points, nuke and pave the system and reload it from scratch, as something appears to be wrong with the previous image you used.
